Job Description

We are seeking a Principal level Strategic Asset Management & Risk Advisor to join our Digital Advisory team at Wood Plc.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent staff position reporting to the Global Practice Lead for Risk Advisory & Strategic Asset Management and Local Regional Manager.

The successful candidate will be working in a variety of engagements, business development, client management, project work packages and campaigns that will draw on your interpersonal and collaboration skills to deliver the described scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical consulting during the planning, design, building, operation and optimisation of assets, facilities, and infrastructure across a range of end markets including energy, industrial, power, mining, and life sciences.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships based on technical credibility and project delivery record.
  • Undertake business development activities to acquire new work.
  • Structure and organise workflow, including appropriate delegation to internal stakeholders.
  • Team leadership, analytical, solutions driven.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree from a recognised university or college in a relevant discipline, plus 20 years of engineering and consulting experience in asset-intensive industries.

A proven track record of technical delivery, client management, and business development is essential. Strongly desirable extensive knowledge in Strategic Asset Management, ISO 55000 and other relevant standards and certification as Senior Practitioner in Asset Management or equivalent.

Practical experience in Modelling, RCM, FRACAS, LCC, FMECA, LoRA and other asset-related techniques is required. Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and typical reliability engineering and asset performance criteria are necessary.

A strong knowledge of the regional and global market and relevant industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Infrastructure is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
