Job Title: Systems Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Infrastructure Architect to lead the modernisation and securing of our tech environment. This role requires an individual who thrives on designing and implementing secure infrastructure, working across on-premise, cloud, and network platforms.

About the Role:

  • Designing and implementing core infrastructure services with a strong security focus
  • Driving improvements in identity management, secure network architecture, and system configurations
  • Leading technical delivery of infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, integration)
  • Acting as senior escalation point and SME across Windows Server, networking, backup/DR, and authentication
  • Contributing to documentation, life cycle management, and disaster recovery planning
  • Supporting adoption of zero-trust principles and secure connectivity across sites and platforms

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with 3+ years in a senior/architectural role
  • Experienced with Microsoft technologies such as AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols
  • Experienced with secure network environments including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, routing, switching
  • Good understanding of disaster recovery, backup processes, and ensuring systems remain online across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as Essential Eight or CIS Benchmarks
