Job Description

We are seeking skilled and compassionate nurses to join our surgical ward at a leading private healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with the hospital's strict protocols.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure a seamless delivery of care to patients. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the achievement of exceptional patient outcomes through your expertise and dedication.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the surgical ward, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive delivery of care.
  • Assess patient needs accurately and develop individualized care plans that address these needs.
  • Deliver care that is responsive to patient preferences and culturally sensitive.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Minimum two years acute nursing care experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in medication management and IV therapy.
  • Previous experience working on a surgical ward is highly desirable.
