Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Service Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers and ensuring their heavy equipment is running at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduled servicing and auditing of heavy equipment, including statutory checks
  • Component change outs, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and equipment/technology upgrades
  • Breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving, and warranty work
About the Role

This is a full-time position with standard hours Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Regular and consistent opportunities for overtime are available.

The role involves working across various sites, including botany port terminal, large manufacturing and warehouse facilities, intermodal container handling facilities, and branch workshops.

Requirements
  • A trade qualification in diesel mechanics
  • Previous experience in a field service/breakdown role
  • Heavy vehicle, road transport, or earthmoving experience
  • Materials handling experience is highly regarded, but not essential
  • Ability to work autonomously and develop strong relationships with customers
What We Offer

In this role, you will enjoy becoming experienced on our mobile equipment fleet, which includes heavy forklifts, reach stackers, cranes, integrated tool carriers, and other materials handling machines.

You will also have access to regular OEM training and development opportunities, as well as company PPE and merchandise.

The estimated salary for this role is $55.00 per hour plus superannuation and overtime at penalty rates.
