About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at CYOS Solutions. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing our data warehouse and ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data warehouse and ETL solutions to meet business needs.
  • Optimize reporting structures to create effective and efficient centralized datasets/data marts.
  • Examine and implement innovative approaches for the presentation of operational data and information to support stakeholders across multiple business areas.
  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine the appropriate data warehouse solutions required to meet business needs.
  • Determine process improvement opportunities and apply data frameworks, standards, and policies.
Requirements
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing task completion against tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience working with other data professionals and business stakeholders to understand existing data sets and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent data projects with a high attention to detail, while maintaining excellent quality and superior customer service.
Desirable Criteria
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field.
  • Background in IT, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related discipline.
  • Technical knowledge in data-warehouse scripting, with structured and unstructured data.
