We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Flourish Australia. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in supporting the coordination, development, and delivery of a student placement program. This will involve providing direct clinical supervision and/or field supervision to student graduates, as well as facilitating excellence in integrated holistic health care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the development of student placement opportunities at headspace, with a focus on providing high-quality clinical supervision and mentorship.
- Deliver direct clinical supervision to students, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to excel in their placements.
- Support the onboarding, induction, and field supervision of students, ensuring a smooth transition into their placements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with universities, fostering strong partnerships to support student learning and development.
- Engage in other stakeholder engagement activities that assist in the successful delivery of student placements at the service.
- Liaise with internal and external services to provide holistic support to young people, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and support.
- Possession of tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health Nursing.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience post-qualification and experience or eligibility to provide clinical supervision.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body, including AHPRA, AASW, and eligibility to register with Medicare Australia as an MBS Primary Care provider or an Allied Mental Health Professional provider.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and initial screening activities, provide counseling, produce assessment reports, and assist young people to access necessary services.
- Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of recovery-focused practice and have a clear understanding of the concept and impact of mental health issues in the community.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
