We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team at Latrobe City Council. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching children and adults essential water safety skills and promoting a lifelong love of swimming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering swimming lessons to meet the needs of participants and adhering to our guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children and adults
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of participants
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with customers
• Adapt lesson plans as required for different class levels and times
• Hold current certifications in AUSTSWIM, LSV Swim Teacher, or Swimming Australia, including CPR, and Level 2 First Aid

Requirements:

• Current AUSTSWIM, LSV Swim Teacher, or Swimming Australia Certificate including CPR
• Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• Must be 16 years of age or older
