Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality control in the delivery of software, architecture, and algorithmic focused Agile projects.

You will work closely with our partners around the world to craft innovative solutions for mobile mining equipment. Your expertise will be essential in delivering sustainable changes in the mining industry for generations to come.

To achieve this, you will plan and execute tests for each sprint and program increment as part of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will also develop and execute automated system tests and report pass/fail results.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the team with executing manual system tests where automated tests don't yet exist
  • Planning integration testing for new features against existing solutions
  • Installing, configuring, and administering test deployment servers and pipelines
  • Keeping data entry and systems up to date to enable accurate reporting and dashboarding
  • Performing key branch/release management duties

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Information Technology or related field. Proven experience assuring the quality of distributed systems is also essential.

Key Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Information Technology or related field
  • Proven experience assuring the quality of distributed systems
  • Knowledge of software engineering, software testing practices
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge of Automated build process
  • Knowledge of Gitflow and branch/release management
  • Ability to design and write automated test cases using SQL, C#, C++
