Backend Software Engineer

This role offers a challenging opportunity to work on building scalable, reliable backend services using modern frameworks and tools.

The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable, reliable backend services with strong Java fundamentals and ability to write production-grade code.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to scope, define, and deliver impactful product features.

Evolving and scaling our backend architecture through thoughtful service design, system decomposition, and shared tooling is key to this role.

Championing reliability, performance, and engineering best practices across multiple service domains is also a priority.

You will maintain and improve service health, observability, and incident resilience in partnership with your team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Highly experienced in building complex backend systems in production environments.
  • Strong Java fundamentals and ability to write production-grade code.
  • Experience driving end-to-end feature delivery from architecture to delivery.
  • Able to mentor others, offer constructive feedback, and lift the technical bar for your team.
  • Hands-on experience using AI in coding/programming to drive greater impact.
