Early Childhood Educator and Room Leader

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to take on a leadership position within our purpose-built child care centre. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in delivering a high-quality educational program that meets the needs of the children and reflects the EYLF framework
  • Liaise with parents and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement programs that promote learning and development in young children
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a recognised Child Care Certificate 3 qualification
  • At least two years of full-time experience working in a child care centre
  • Ability to work any 8 hour shift within our opening hours of Monday to Friday 6:30am to 6:00pm
  • Current Working With Children Check and First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
