Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care that promotes safety and well-being for our clients.
Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering therapeutic mental health care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with the team to develop treatment plans. They will also maintain accurate clinical documentation and engage in professional development to enhance their practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals presenting with acute mental health issues.
  • Advanced reasoning skills and ability to work autonomously within minimal direct clinical supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to exercise independent professional judgement when solving problems.
  • Working knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
  • Able to collaborate with consumers and carers regarding mental health care.
  • Understanding of recovery philosophy and trauma-informed care in Mental Health.
  • Current NSW driver's license.
