Urban Development Leadership Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role shaping the future of urban development at a leading consultancy in Brisbane.

The opportunity combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills. As Associate Director, you'll guide project delivery, inspire your team, and play a key role in driving growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex urban development projects from concept to completion.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, positioning yourself as a trusted partner.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to engineering teams, supporting technical excellence and career growth.
  • Work alongside the senior leadership team to set strategic direction and pursue new opportunities.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial outcomes.
  • Evaluate all work against industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practice benchmarks.
About You:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering; CPEng / RPEQ or equivalent highly regarded.
  • 10+ years in consulting, with significant experience across land development projects.
  • Strong leadership background, including team management and project oversight.
  • Excellent client-facing skills with ability to negotiate and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Commercial acumen with track record in business development.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, sustainability, and emerging urban development trends.
