Job Description

The Field Service Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring that customers' equipment is maintained, serviced and kept in excellent condition. This full-time role provides fast, accurate and high-quality on-site troubleshooting and repair of equipment across Sydney Metro area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair various forklift brands and models at client sites.
  • Conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance of equipment to prevent future issues.
  • Work on engines, electrical, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electronics.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic technology to identify and resolve equipment breakdowns/malfunctions.
  • Liaise with and understand customer needs through effective communication.
  • Provide professional advice regarding forklift care and operation.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate within the service team.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Trade Qualifications (automotive or mechanical).
  • Previous experience servicing and repairing LPG and Electric forklifts (Field work preferred).
  • Familiarity with mobile manual handling plant equipment (Not essential).
  • Well-developed mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
  • An unrestricted Australian driver's license.
  • A current Forklift license (An advantage).
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • A safety-first attitude with a focus on quality and improvement.
