Key Responsibilities

As a Boilermaker at The Drake Group, you will be responsible for the fabrication of heavy haulage trailers and components. This includes:

  • Fabricating and assembling trailers in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Carrying out cutting, punching, rolling, bending, drilling, and welding of steel products.
  • Conducting regular inspections and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Ensuring precision and accuracy in all fabrication processes to meet quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Boilermaker Trade Qualification or similar.
  • Previous experience in the heavy manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
