Audiovisual Collection Manager

As part of our digital transformation, we are rebuilding our workforce to develop the capacity to digitize our collection at scale. The team leader plays a key role in this process.
The team is responsible for providing activities for preservation and ongoing care of the audiovisual collection. This includes preparing and preserving material for digitization, conducting research and analysis, and maintaining current policies and procedures.
We aim to be an employer of choice within the GLAM sector, providing exciting work, favourable employment conditions, and development opportunities for our staff.
The team leader will work with the physical audiovisual collection, coordinating resources and ensuring the program meets strategic objectives. They will also contribute to corporate reporting and assist with procurement practices.
We require someone with technical skills and abilities, particularly related to audiovisual material, including experience in conservation practice and procedure.
This is a 9-month opportunity with the possibility of an extension.
