Treasury Finance Professional Training Opportunity

This graduate program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience and skills in the field of treasury. You will have access to rewarding career opportunities in a central agency, exposure to meaningful work in several areas of the department, the chance to contribute to policies that shape the Australian economic landscape, and make a positive impact for all Australians.
Eligibility Criteria- Be an Australian citizen (or become one by this time)
- Hold an undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher), completed or to be completed within the last 5 years
- If your degree is from an overseas university, provide a statement from an Australian state or territory government qualifications unit
- Perform well in your studies to be competitive in the selection process
- Be willing to relocate to Canberra for the program duration, or travel to Canberra for development activities if placed in Sydney or Melbourne
You will have access to bespoke face-to-face development opportunities, including workshops with academics and Treasury experts. You will also have a pathway that enables career progression as your capability develops.
The program runs for 2 years with 3 rotations in different work areas, allowing you to gain experience across the department. Work placements are based on your skills, qualifications, and Treasury's portfolio responsibilities.
