Experienced Carpenter Wanted for Sunshine Coast Project

Smarter Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpenter to work on a mixed trade team in the Sunshine Coast region. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for providing carpentry services in both residential and commercial settings.

We are looking for an applicant with a flexible mindset and skillset. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least three years of experience in lieu of formal qualifications or a carpentry qualification at AQF Certificate IV level or equivalent
  • Qld Construction Induction Card
  • Driver Licence (manual)
  • Work at heights/EWP preferred but not essential

The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, as well as communicate effectively with other trades. Experience in propping and erecting frameworks and structures, constructing and installing formwork, and performing concrete cutting and drilling will be highly regarded.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $74,000 - $ super. Paid overtime will be offered as required. The successful candidate will be required to work at various sites on the Sunshine Coast and must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
