Perinatal Psychologist and Clinician

The Perinatal Psychologist and Clinician role at Southern NSW Local Health District offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified psychologist or clinician to make a real difference in the lives of women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment and intervention services, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your expertise will also be sought by general practitioners and other healthcare providers to support patients in managing their mental health.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess advanced knowledge of perinatal mental health issues, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A degree or higher qualification in psychology or a related field, such as clinical psychology or counseling, is essential. Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
