Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Mathematics Teacher to join our team at an esteemed P – 12 co-educational boarding school in North Queensland. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach Specialist and Methods mathematics, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality educational experiences to students.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, with a focus on fostering a love for learning and academic excellence. They will also work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach Specialist and Methods mathematics to students
  • To develop and implement curriculum programs
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent tertiary qualifications
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or eligible to gain)
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligible to gain)
  • Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching subjects outlined above
  • A commitment to upholding and promoting the values and ethos of the school
  • A proven ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community
