Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Instrument and Electrical Asset Engineer to join our Reliability team at the Geelong Refinery. As an Instrument and Electrical Asset Engineer, you will directly support our Asset teams as the first port of call for Instrument and Electrical Engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot instrument and electrical issues.
- Investigate incidents using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other engineering techniques.
- Manage compliance to our instrument and electrical safeguarding testing regimes.
- Lead small plant changes and projects and represent the Asset team as a technical stakeholder on large projects.
- Develop and execute maintenance intervention and Turnaround scopes.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong communication and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a heavy production or manufacturing environment, preferably greater than 5 years.
- Sound working knowledge of instrument and electrical assets, particularly their maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of RCA or similar investigative techniques.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to meet your commitments and hold yourself accountable for the outcomes.
- Registered as an Electrical Engineer with the Building Licensing Authority would be an advantage.
