Mobile Vehicle Inspector Wanted

RACQ Autoglass is seeking experienced trade-qualified mechanics to work as our Independent Mobile Vehicle Inspectors.
- We cover Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast with plans to expand to other areas soon.
In this role, you will conduct vehicle inspections for RACQ Members and customers using your mechanical expertise. You will also assist members and customers by inspecting and testing motor vehicles utilizing various inspection procedures and report types.
You will provide accurate and comprehensive advice and reports, document the outcomes of your inspections, and answer technical questions related to inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Automotive Mechanic trade qualifications are essential for this role.
- A valid Approved Examiner (AE) license from Qld Transport to issue Safety Certificates (RWC) is required.
- An open Australian Driver's License and an ABN are necessary.
- You must own a vehicle (a ute or van, white in color, less than 5 years old).
- Suitable equipment to carry out inspections (list provided) is required.
- A mobile or tablet device is also necessary.
- Holding own insurances and public liability policies is mandatory.
- Effective communication with all stakeholders is crucial.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently are key.
- High levels of personal presentation are expected.
- Display initiative and flexibility in your work.
- Keep technical knowledge up to date.
- Enjoy solving problems and providing assistance.
