Job Description

Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to operate our advanced fiber laser cutting machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of these machines, producing high-quality parts, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines, including the CNC HSG T3 6kW Tube Laser and CNC Yewei 6kW Fiber Optic Laser Cutter.
  • Select and load materials, ensuring they are securely positioned on the laser bed to prevent movement during operation.
  • Input and adjust machine settings to match job specifications, monitor the cutting process, and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
  • Unload fabricated parts, deburr them if required, and prepare them for shipment.
  • Confirm part quantities, conduct thorough quality checks, and prepare items for dispatch.

Technical Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience operating fiber laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Familiarity with different metals and their respective cutting parameters.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools for quality checks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Formal training or certification in CNC laser cutting or metal fabrication.
