We are seeking a Clinical Educator and Academic Administrator to contribute to the development and delivery of Speech Pathology units and clinical placements at our Berwick Campus and other sites.
About the RoleThis role involves contributing to the development and delivery of Speech Pathology units at undergraduate and graduate levels, overseeing the Institute's research course and administrative functions, and acting as a clinical coordinator. You will also be responsible for supervising students undertaking clinical placement, project units, honours programs, and research higher degrees.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Contributing to the development and delivery of Speech Pathology units at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Overseeing the Institute's research course and administrative functions.
- Acting as a clinical coordinator.
- Supervising students undertaking clinical placement, project units, honours programs, and research higher degrees.
You will work as part of our Institute's team of academic and administrative staff. We seek candidates who possess proven educational, research, and professional experience and are committed to embedding long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission.
You will possess:
- A certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement.
- Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching and clinical education.
- Previous experience in academic administration, including the administration of units and clinical coordination (these are preferable).
