Business Accounts Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Officer to support our business operations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in accounts payable, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Process incoming mail, distribute tax invoices to relevant divisions, and prepare transaction reports for creditor batches.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with suppliers and internal customers to resolve payment discrepancies, follow up outstanding invoices, and distribute cheques and remittance advices.
- Creditor Management: Create and maintain creditor data in the Accounts Payable chart, reconcile creditors statements, and file creditors batches.
- Payment Administration: Prepare and process all Accounts Payable imports, including prizes, exam supervisors, and scholarship payments, as well as foreign currency payments for approval.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's accounts payable experience.
- POLICE CHECK IS REQUIRED (existing or willing to apply).
- High level of attention to detail.
- Highly organized and effective communication skills.
- Team player with ability to work autonomously.
