About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team at Orygen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the development and evolution of our software features, ensuring security, testing, technology integration, and innovation to provide high-quality releases to our user base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and evolution of scalable, cost-effective architecture, while advancing both frontend and backend technologies and processes.
  • Ensure the integration of secure and innovative technology solutions within our software.
  • Collaborate with QA Testing to ensure a smooth, high-quality delivery and operation of our software.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and research teams.
Requirements
  • Extensive commercial development experience.
  • Proficiency with Python and Javascript/NodeJS.
  • Hands-on development experience with full-stack frontend applications (VueJS) and microservices, event-driven systems, AWS infrastructure services, and specification and implementation of RESTful APIs.
  • Technical experience with; CI/CD pipelines and automation, logging, testing, monitoring, containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux, and bash scripting.
  • An ability to problem solve and exercise high-level judgment, with skill in determining when to independently manage versus when to escalate.
