Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Darwin. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of Estate Upkeep Capital Works projects for NT Defence Bases. You will work closely with a diverse range of Defence and Government clients to develop a deep understanding of their challenges and co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of Estate Upkeep Capital Works projects for NT Defence Bases
  • Manage schedule to ensure that projects are delivered to client expectations, timeframes, and specifications
  • Manage greatly varying scopes of works on projects from concept design through to handover
  • Manage change, quality, health, safety, and risk elements
  • Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management
  • Report to the Portfolio Lead and Program Directors on status, progress, and completion of projects
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of Project Management and a passion for infrastructure projects that make a difference in the world
  • Consultancy project management and Defence experience
  • Qualifications in a technical discipline such as engineering, project management, construction management, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA)
