About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading and educating staff, and promoting a safe and effective environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and utilize strategies to promote effective communication and teamwork among staff.
- Work in partnership with patients and families to make informed decisions about care and promote beneficial relationships.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 1 year in-charge acute hospital experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Knowledge of the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work across a rotating roster.
