Electrical Project Leadership Role

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced electrical project engineer to manage site projects from initiation to delivery.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in electrical engineering, who can provide technical expertise and leadership in project development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project leadership, including cost estimation, budget submissions, and project oversight.
  • Develop and deliver electrical power and system engineering solutions, including HV, LV, and MV distribution, as well as project scoping, design, and commissioning.
  • Manage contractors and ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
  • Perform risk assessments, JSEAs, and safety investigations to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Review and develop equipment strategies to align with statutory and Australian standards.
  • Drive innovation by managing changes to processes, equipment, or plant operations.
Requirements

Experience in similar electrical project engineering roles, including some exposure to design work. A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering is essential, along with experience with mineral processing plants and power distribution equipment.
