Transportation Infrastructure Specialist

The Maintenance Technical Support Engineer plays a central role in providing exceptional service and support to clients. This involves collaborating with the client team to assess faults and failures, monitoring systems for alarms and issues, reviewing client-initiated tickets, triaging tickets, coordinating with Level 2 and Level 3 teams, reviewing logs associated with tickets, and monitoring response times.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Computers, Software, or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Good knowledge of railway signalling systems, software, and hardware.
- Experience with railway operations such as ERTMS/ETCS, CBTC, Interlocking, ATP Systems.
- Knowledge of Australian Railway Safety standards.
- Ability to interact with signalling subsystems across project teams for technical convergence.
- Experience in complex signalling design and multidisciplinary projects, with understanding of signalling principles, standards, components, and fabrication methods.
- Experience in major brownfield signalling projects.
- Ability to work transversally with services and engineering teams.
