About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Employment Coach to join our team in Burleigh Heads. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting people with disability to achieve their employment aspirations. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with supported employees, site managers, and other stakeholders to promote Endeavour Foundation as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Endeavour Foundation's services and benefits to people with disability.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build productive partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a continuous improvement culture within the organization.
- Work collaboratively with site managers to attract, recruit, and select supported employees who meet the commercial operations' requirements.
- Assist in the collection of information for internal and external reporting, ensuring all obligations are met and audit requirements are completed.
- Review procedures and processes with the site manager to ensure efficiency and continual improvement of service delivery.
- Contribute to individual support planning and NDIS funding reviews, developing person-centered support activities relevant to the workplace.
Requirements:
- Experience working with people with disability in an employment setting or direct support.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a person-centered framework and apply social justice principles.
- Flexibility and agility in the workplace, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A genuine commitment to the organization's purpose and values, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using current MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing people with disabilities.
