We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Chef to join our FIFO/DIDO Resources Catering Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all safety and quality processes are followed and exceeding customer expectations in regards to a healthy and delicious food offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for a large number of people in a high-volume catering environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including food handling and preparation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
- Experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume catering environment.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including FIFO/DIDO rotations.
- Current Coal Board Medical and Pre-Employment Functional Assessment.
- Current Standard 11 Certificate.
