About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant/Technician to join our team on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and prepare medications according to prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
  • Maintain optimal levels of medication inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks within the pharmacy, such as scanning scripts, preparing transfers, and reconciling orders.
Requirements:
  • A recognized qualification in a relevant field or equivalent certification from a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in dispensing pharmaceuticals in a hospital or community setting, with a strong understanding of legislative requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to work a rotating roster, ensuring seamless coverage and efficient service delivery.
