Junior Solicitor Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated solicitor to join our team. As a junior solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling a range of legal matters.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and prepare court documents, affidavits, and submissions;
  • Appear in Local Court criminal proceedings and collaborate with barristers on case management;
  • Interact with clients and assist them with real-life legal situations;
  • Court attendances in various jurisdictions and review security documents, deeds of guarantee, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, and lease documents;
  • Mentor and guide interns and clerks.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • At least 1 year's PAE in a general practice firm;
  • Experience in Local Court criminal appearances is desired, with Conveyancing or Family Law experience being preferred;
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to handle competing priorities;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
