About the Role

CPC Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering deliverables, including design models, calculations, and plant design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver structural engineering deliverables, including design models, calculations, and plant design
  • Provide project review and approval of structural and civil deliverables
  • Coordinate and lead a team of designers and drafters
  • Review and manage project progress and schedule
  • Ensure adherence to CPC Engineering's policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in minerals process plant design
  • High-level competence in designing to relevant Australian Standards, particularly steel and concrete structures
  • High-level competence in using structural analysis software, particularly SpaceGass and Strand7
  • Ability to produce high-quality study estimates
  • Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
  • Ability to manage studies and small design projects
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Willingsness to travel for short-term site visits if required
