About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at McLean Farms in Felton, QLD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our MOBA grading machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on MOBA grading machines to ensure accuracy and consistency in egg sorting.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for MOBA grading machines to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions.
  • Support the maintenance team in ensuring that the MOBA grading machine complies with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance or production teams to implement improvements and innovations.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting maintenance on MOBA egg grading machinery.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to write reports and correspondence, and ability to speak clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating work in a changing environment.
  • Ability to use a range of computer applications.
