IT Support Specialist Job Description

This role involves providing comprehensive support to end-users, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by end-users, utilizing problem determination skills and knowledge of software and hardware systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service through timely and accurate responses to inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, maintaining effective communication channels throughout the process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Domain Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of payroll, time and labor/employee scheduling, HR, or benefits domains.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience using Time & Attendance, Payroll, and/or Human Resource applications or related technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, oral communication, listening, and telephone skills, enabling effective interaction with customers, management, and peers.
  • Education: Degree qualification in a related field is preferred but not required.
