Machine Operator Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable machine operator to join our growing team in Marsden Park. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and assembly of containment system components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC cutting machines, press brakes, and automated welding equipment
  • Perform setups, calibrations, and adjustments to machinery as needed
  • Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to ensure product specifications
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, to guide machine setup and production
  • Manual handling of materials (approx. 15–20kg)
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Maintain precision in repetitive tasks

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transport – location not accessible by public transport
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player with good communication and a focus on safety
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
