Job Title: Disability Support Specialist - Casual Opportunity

Salary: $32.73 - $40.26 per hour (competitive SCHADS Casual Award)

Location: Preston, VIC

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Specialists to join our team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and within the community.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Providing manual handling assistance, including hoisting and lifting
  • Accompanying clients on community outings and activities
  • Preparing meals and assisting with domestic tasks

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 1 year of relevant experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community access
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certification, and Working with Children's Check
