Visual Merchandise Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandise Lead to drive our pre-season and in-season merchandise planning efforts. This role will play a critical part in shaping the commercial strategy and achieving business goals.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned planner with expertise in forecasting, inventory management, and margin optimization to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and leadership capabilities to mentor and coach junior planners.

  • Develop and implement effective forecasting models, inventory management strategies, and margin optimization techniques to achieve sales forecasts, improve inventory turns, and reduce markdowns.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, finance, retail, and supply chain, to align on commercial goals and drive business results.
  • Design and execute assortment planning processes, stock allocation strategies, and performance tracking tools to support new store openings and enhance overall business performance.
  • Mentor and coach junior planners to develop their skills and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in merchandise planning, with a proven track record of managing forecasts, margins, and inventory.
  • Demonstrated analytical strength and commercial acumen, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize performance.
  • Leadership capability, with the ability to mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing trading conditions, identifying risks and opportunities with proactive solutions.
