Registrar in Medical Administration

The role of Registrar in Medical Administration is a critical position within our organization, requiring an individual who can provide exceptional support to the Chief Medical Officer and Director Medical Services.

Responsibilities include participating in ongoing assessments of competencies as per RACMA requirements, contributing to the development of medical education programs for junior and senior medical staff, and coordinating projects related to the portfolio of the CMO/DMS.

  • Conduct regular assessments of competencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills of junior and senior medical staff.
  • Assist in the coordination of projects and initiatives related to the portfolio of the CMO/DMS.

This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) recognized for full registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Working towards or completed a relevant postgraduate management qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in a large metropolitan or regional health service is essential.
