Job Role: Controls Service Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test and repair TechnipFMC products related to subsea controls.
  • Collaborate with team members for safe and successful installation of subsea hardware.
  • Address customer requirements and complaints effectively.
  • Support sales by ensuring customers are informed about job aspects.
  • Submit Field Service Orders (FSO) and Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT) within agreed timelines.
  • Report quality issues and documentation defects to Service Management.
  • Finalize field documentation after job completion.
  • Resolve project execution issues to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare safety documentation, promoting safe work practices.
  • Lead task execution in compliance with procedures, codes and standards.
  • Supervise on-site field service crew and report to Service Management.
  • Assist in developing procedural requirements for current and future service jobs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a field service technician in subsea controls or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Subsea Controls Systems
  • Commissioning and Topside Controls Systems
  • Subsea Equipment
  • IWOCS / Hydraulics Equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Capability to perform moderately complex calculations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and instructional skills with technical tools and instruments.
  • Understanding of industry theories and internal business processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
