**Remote Area Management Specialist**

About the Role:

The Operations Manager - Caring for Country (CFC) is responsible for ensuring that CFC ranger programs operate in accordance with the CFC Strategic Plan. This plan aims to achieve outcomes that reflect the unique priorities, aspirations, and needs of Traditional Owners and their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage field-based programs in natural resource management or conservation.

• Lead teams and manage projects, ensuring they stay on track and within budget.

• Build relationships with diverse groups, including staff, Traditional Owners, government representatives, and partner organizations.

• Deliver training, capacity building, and mentoring to staff in remote settings.

• Manage logistical challenges in remote or regional areas.

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or relevant equivalent qualifications.
