Operations Program Coordinator Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic oversight and coordination of multiple interdependent projects within the Aviation Operations Planning and Delivery team. This role offers both purpose and momentum in a truly unique setting.

Job Summary:
  • Provide strategic oversight and coordination of multiple interdependent projects within the Aviation Operations Planning and Delivery team.
  • Partner with project sponsors to plan and manage the overall program lifecycle, ensuring alignment with key operational outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the program on track.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive program success.
  • Support program governance through documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including budget tracking, purchase orders, roster coordination, and meeting management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning and coordination of multiple projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Development and maintenance of project plans, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and address potential roadblocks.
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communication and reporting of project status and progress to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in program or project coordination, ideally within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of working across diverse teams and large-scale initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of program planning, monitoring, and risk management techniques.
