The Payroll Analyst will lead the review of historical payroll data to identify discrepancies or process issues. Key responsibilities include:
  • Utilizing Excel-based templates to investigate payroll data.
  • Interpreting industrial agreements.
  • Highlighting discrepancies.
  • Communicating effectively with the internal finance team and consultants.
  • Making process change recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in payroll, coupled with strong analytical skills to investigate complex data sets. Key requirements include:
  • Knowledge of end-to-end payroll.
  • Ability to interpret awards and other industrial agreements.
  • Strong data manipulation skills, particularly using Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous payroll project experience is desirable.
  • Ability to commence at short notice.
This is a contract role of 2-3 months in duration, with potential to extend further. The successful candidate will work as part of a cohesive finance team, equipped with necessary templates and tools to succeed in the role. A competitive hourly rate of $50-60/hour + Super is on offer.
