\About the Role

This is a four-year apprenticeship opportunity to develop your skills in mechanical fitting, working in our Maroochydore workshop.

\Key Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance and minor corrective works for plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.\
  • Assist with tests and inspections, document maintenance history and actions taken.\
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety practices and provide quality customer service.\
  • Engage in mentoring, on-the-job training and formal training throughout the program.
\Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • \
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in mechanical, metal and fabrication work.\
  • Show high motivation to work as part of a team and/or independently when necessary.\
  • Possess strong commitment to safety.\
  • Develop good interpersonal and written communication skills.\
  • Achieve completion of four years of formal training.\
  • Demonstrate basic time management and problem-solving skills.\
  • Possess Year 12 Maths qualification and experience operating electrical/mechanical tools.\
  • Hold a C Class Drivers Licence and be willing to travel and work across the region.\
  • Display strong computer skills.
