CCE specializes in the use of cathodic protection to protect buried or immersed steel structures from corrosion, including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.

Job Description
  • We are seeking a skilled Metal Protection Specialist to join our New South Wales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cathodic protection or related fields and be eager to learn and grow with us.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of approximately $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenance of cathodic protection systems
  • Commission new cathodic protection systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, implementing necessary repairs and improvements
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reports

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or equivalent working rights
  • Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites
