Job Summary

A seasoned Heavy Duty Mechanic is required to maintain the mobile fleet in the field and workshop, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive repairs and maintenance on mobile equipment, meeting strict deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Supervise and train junior mechanics to develop their skills and knowledge, providing expert guidance and support.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Australian recognized trade qualifications for HD mechanics, including relevant workplace licenses.
  • Proven experience working on CAT, Komatsu, or Hitachi mining equipment, demonstrating a deep understanding of Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with completion of STD 11 training and S1,2,3, and G2 supervisor training.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and relevant workplace licenses.
  • Current Coal board Medical certification.
