IT Risk Management Specialist

Profusion Group is seeking an experienced IT Risk Controls Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Line 1 division, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business to effectively own and manage their risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management: Collaborate with business units to identify, assess, and manage IT risks and controls in alignment with the organization's risk profile.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Data, Infrastructure, Cyber, and other IT stakeholders, guiding them through the risk management journey and fostering a culture of risk awareness.
- CPS 230: Manage material service provider risk and resilience.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on risk management frameworks and practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes and controls, driving improvements that align with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the 3 Lines of Defense model.
- Proven experience in IT risk management and controls.
- Minimum 3 years Risk and controls-based experience - IT controls essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in risk management, finance, or a related field.
