About the RoleWe seek an experienced leader with extensive knowledge in electrical engineering and management, capable of advising on best practices and developing systems that support health and safety excellence across our workplaces.
Key Responsibilities- Safely supervise the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical plant;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records;
- Investigate incidents related to electricity and report to site managers;
- Develop and improve electrical systems to optimize performance and efficiency;
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in mobile plant maintenance and electric drive haul trucks;
- Supervisory experience of tradespersons, preferably in a mining operation;
- Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and relevant regulations;
- Hold either an electrician's licence or a qualification in electrical engineering, along with WHS risk management training;
