Job Overview

As a key contributor to delivering great outcomes for the community, you will drive and provide oversight of responses and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of the Department's strategic intent.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the future, working on strategic projects, collecting and analysing data, and reporting on performance. The team ensures high performance for the Department by giving senior leaders visibility into system performance and improvements.

The System Transformation Office researches the viability of concepts and develops recommendations that guide the strategic development to business improvement and transformational initiatives, preparing the Department for the future.

You will use project management methodologies to underpin collaboration, standardisation and the on-time, on-budget delivery of key project metrics. This role also involves driving and providing oversight of responses and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of the Department's strategic intent.

Beyond your core responsibilities, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of Business Intelligence strategies, including the continuous improvement and maturity of data collection, storage and analysis to enable executive dashboards for senior leadership to support strategic decision making and mitigate key enterprise risks.

Additionally, you will support the Corporate Executive and governance committees through services such as monitoring government and Minister priorities, ensuring compliance, enabling senior leadership decision making and assurance of system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and provide oversight of responses and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of the Department's strategic intent.
  • Use project management methodologies to underpin collaboration, standardisation and the on-time, on-budget delivery of key project metrics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Business Intelligence strategies.
  • Support the Corporate Executive and governance committees.
